Tasting wine is easy, but mapping what we taste onto someone else's criteria less so. Doing this in a systematic and consistent way can sometimes be challenging, especially when it's a systematic approach developed by an organisation with exams you want to pass...
Although this blog has been started by and for students at various stages of the WSET (Wine & Spirits Educational Trust) syllabus it's open to any wine lovers anywhere. The only condition is that you use the same systemic approach to tasting as us. That's WSET Level 3 and upwards.
So, send us an email and we'll put you on the user list!
We'll also send you a copy of the tasting approach if you don't have it already.
Happy tasting!
