Last Weekend...

My Mom threw a huge meal for the 'younger' generation of the family.

There were 14 of us (and a dog who was being babysat). The food was lovely (homemade profiteroles for desert!!), as was the company and it was nice to get everyone in the same place at the same time, seeing as it's so hard to do at Christmas these days, what with everyone's families having doubled due to long-term partners and marriages etc!

I'm not sure how it ended up as assorted members of the entourage went home gradually. I made it to 2:30am before going to bed, but some of the others were still going strong at 4am!

My main problem with tennis is that I need LOTS of room for my long arms! That and I have to be careful of ceilings (and my mothers ornaments) when serving!
