Thank you! I got really lucky; here in Colorado we don't usually have a very dramatic sunsets - one of the trade-offs for all those sunny days.
this is absolutely stunning - why doesn't it have a HL
wtg Mandy... impressive
Cheerfully HLd - great shot, best of luck building up your portfolio.
Thank you, Seaneeboy, D & O. Such a gratifying feeling to come home & see a shot you thought was successful on the big screen. Yay for justified good feelings!
thanks joker! hopefully things will just keep getting better & better.
Clouds help (they help a lot*), but they don't make the picture. :)
*I get really annoyed when I get a great landscape attached to a cloudless, boring sky.
Wow, that is stunning! Great framing and colours!
We've had some lovely sunsets here too recently. I've read that they all may be due to SO2 aerosols from the eruption of Mt Kasatochi in Alaska on the 6th and 7th of August. It threw up a gas gloud about 7.5% that of Pinatubo, which is pretty big. The cloud made it to the North Atlantic by August 15th, and has spread widely over North America :D
I hadn't heard about that eruption Euphro - I'm going to go look that up! We have been having unusually bright colored sunsets lately.
